It All Starts with an Interest

It’s true. Many careers in the racing industry stem from relatives, family, and/or close friends. If you don’t have these relations, it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to make it in this industry. Like many, I also don’t have family in the industry; not even my parents were ever really interested in motorsports. My grandfather, who recently passed away, was the only person in my family interested in automtives. He would have loved my first car. It was this car that I sit in for countless hours, listening to music in the garage, studying each aspect of its engine, framework, suspension, and how to get more power out of its 2.3L 4cyl engine. Without even realizing it, I’d found my new passion.

The S550 2017 Mustang Ecoboost was a prime example of the classic, loud, and powerful muscle car, boasting a naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 engine, just without the 5.0L V8. It was a modern representation of just that serving as the base model for the Mustang lineup, replacing the 3.7L V6 while producing more power and torque, but loses some emotional qualities. Over time, I came to appreciate the knowledge, enthusiasm, and interests it sparked in me. Though it wasn't exceptionally fast or nimble, it possessed the iconic, menacing look of a Mustang with its long hood and doors, signature tri-pattern in both headlights and tailights, and iconic swooping hood panels. With its 2.3 litre turbocharged inline 4, it had a few modern tricks up its sleeve, such as the removeable intake hose to make the ‘pshhhh’ let off sound. The 2017 model was the last year to have the 8 speed automatic transmission before Ford switched the Mustang platform to the 10 speed in 2018. Although a 6 speed manual was an option at the time, I didn’t know how to drive it so I had a spec with the 8 speed automatic transmission, which I regretted as soon as I learned how to drive manual.

More About Me

Fast forward to now, I'm just two semesters away from wrapping up my Bachelor's in Media Production & Entrepreneurship at High Point University. But why stop there? I'm setting my sights on an MBA, most likely not at HPU.

Throughout my academic journey, I've picked up a solid foundation in media production and marketing. As I dive into business administration, my aim is to blend my skills of entrepreneurship with marketing and media production to craft my own platform offering services people actually need—all while having a blast. So far, it's been nothing but a joy.

Based in Mooresville, NC, I firmly believe that real-world experiences forge the best customer relationships—you can't learn that from a textbook. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat about my journey and what I bring to the table.
